Welcome to ProdhoshBlogs

Welcome to My Blog

Hey, I'm Prodhosh.

I'm currently studying Computer Science at VIT Chennai and pursuing a BS in Data Science and Applications from IIT Madras.

Over the last few years, I've spent a lot of time building projects, contributing to open source, participating in programs like GSSoC, learning AI and web development, and generally figuring things out as I go.

This blog is my way of documenting that journey.

You'll find a mix of things here:

  • Things I'm learning
  • Projects I'm building
  • Open source experiences
  • Lessons from internships, hackathons, and communities
  • Thoughts on AI, software development, and technology
  • Occasionally, mistakes that taught me something useful

Why Start a Blog?

Most of what I know today came from people who took the time to share their experiences online.

A blog post, a GitHub repository, a tutorial, or even a random comment on a forum has helped me solve problems more times than I can count.

This is my attempt to give some of that back.

Writing also helps me think more clearly. When you try to explain something to someone else, you quickly discover what you actually understand and what you don't.

What You'll See Here

I don't want this to be another blog filled with generic tutorials that already exist a thousand times on the internet.

Instead, I'll focus on things I've personally built, learned, struggled with, or found interesting.

Some examples:

  • Building open source projects and contributing to communities
  • Lessons from GSSoC and other programs
  • Project breakdowns and technical decisions
  • AI and machine learning experiments
  • Student developer resources and opportunities
  • Things I wish I knew earlier

Building in Public

One thing I've learned is that growth becomes much faster when you stop waiting to be an expert before sharing what you know.

I'm still learning.

This blog isn't meant to be a collection of perfect answers. It's a collection of lessons, experiments, wins, failures, and everything in between.

If something here helps you, that's awesome.

If you spot a mistake or have a better way of doing something, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy reading 🚀
